bornfreeparent This is a season of life. this season is hard. its as hard, long, dark and sometimes lonely as the alaskan winter. for the past two weeks i have gotten no more than 4 hours of sleep per night. my 17month old is struggling with being in her body and is needing a lot from mom in the night. when we all wake up in the morning, i am cranky. i am a self-pitying mess and just want to crawl back in to bed. my girls seem unphased by my bad mood, but i am well aware of how i am feeling and that it is not congruent with how i want to walk through my days. what has helped me these past two weeks? 💗 paying attention to how we all feel and what we need. 💫 having empathy for my sweet girls as well as myself. 🌸 speaking to them as kindly and compassionately as possible and actively listening to what they communicate i am by no means perfect, and this period of life is trying me. however, i have goals and intentions and a whole lot of love for my self and my family, so these steps are well worth every ounce of effort. #consciousparenting #momlife #momofgirls #dadlife #peaceprocess #manifestconsciousness
