futureafterpicture My dad has had type 2 diabetes for as long as i can remember. he is a food addict and can not control his eating. he went to a new doctor this week and he was put on a strict diet to limit carbs and all sugar- including artificial. - - - - as a family, we have decided to change our eating habits to support my dad. my brother, my sister and her kids, my mom, and i have decided to come alongside of my dad and make this huge dietary change together. this weekend, i am going to help my mom go through her pantry and get rid of all of the pasta, potatoes, white breads, sugars, etc, and then we’ll go shopping with the new list of approved foods. it’s a big change but it’s going to make this fitness change in my life so much easier. - - - - - - tonight i made dinner for my parents to get them off on the right food. baked chicken thighs with capers and lemon, quinoa/spinach pilaf, and a tall glass of oj. soooooo good. so excited for this new diet change and how healthy our family is going to be! - - - - #fitfam #cleaneating #quinoa #lowcarb #weightloss #myweightloss #myweightlossjourney #losingweight #diabetes #diabetic #type2diabetes #futureafterpicture

fit4cass After last week's disappointment of a .4 pound loss (but still a loss)!! i had a big success of 5 pounds down this week! i'm 18.6 pounds down and now at 187.6, which is the lowest i've been in years. :) next week, i want to hit two goals: i want to lose 20 lbs total (1.4 lbs to go) and i want to get to 185 (2.6 lbs to go). i think i can do it as long as i continue to work hard and do some workouts! #gettinfit #jennycraigcalifornia #jennycraig #losingweight #weeklyweighin #scalevictory #feelinskinny

a_fit_chick_in_the_making It’s a hard thing to do for some. some people struggle with loving their bodies and are constantly criticizing and putting themselves down. i know because i am one of these people, yes i am but i am also trying to find ways to love my body. society’s standards, social media, the false realities of what a persons body looks like is further destroying people and making it so much harder for them to look in a mirror and say d**n i’m beautiful! i have started with small things and i urge everyone with self esteem issues that are body shaming themselves on a daily to start with me as well. every morning i want you to do a few simple things 1. stand in front of a mirror and look at yourself. i mean really look at yourself 2. find something you like about your body or your self and admire it. 3. dress for you!!!! put on whatever makes you feel good stop worrying about everyone else. 4. wear that smile proudly and don’t let someone’s words or looks distract you. keep reminding yourself of what you admired, positive things others have said to you, and remind yourself that’s just their ugly trait coming out. 5. think positive (another hard one for me at times especially since my health) believe it or not a positive attitude is beautiful. nobody wants to be consumed with negativity, cuz let’s face it everyone is trying to get away from something. 6. love and enjoy life and the people in it. life is too short to be wrapped up in negative thoughts and moments that shouldn’t matter. make memories. go out your comfort zone and try new things. these 6 easy steps could really change your mood and your day. you have nothing to lose at all in trying these, you just potentially have something to gain. have a good night loves and i hope you enjoyed your day. night. ๐Ÿ˜˜ #weightloss #weightlossjourney #fitfam #fitnessjourney #igweightloss #weightlosscommunity #weightlossjourney2017 #weightlossmotivation #fitnessjourney #fitnesslifestyle #fatloss #healthyliving #fitnessmotivation #fitnessgirls #fitnessgirl #healthydiet #weightlosstransformation #losingweight #getfit #healthybody #healthylife #healthylifestyle #fitnessgoals #weightlossjourney2018

ashleigetsfit Made up a new chicken, broccoli, alfredo bake tonight! it was super yummy, easy, the servings is were huge and i am stuffed! also ๐Ÿ‘ฏ ate almost an entire serving by herself. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ so the whole house approves. ๐Ÿ˜‚ ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡ re c i p e: 1 box hyvee 150 cal rotini noodles. 1 1/2 jars light prego alfredo sauce. 4 tbsp light ricotta. 1 bag steamed broccoli. 1 can chicken breast. 1 tbsp garlic. 1 cup ff mozzarella. salt, pepper. sprinkle of oregano & parmesan. preheat oven to 350. boil noodles for 12 minutes, drain. steam broccoli. combine all ingredients in a bowl, omitting oregano, parmesan and 1/2 cup ff mozzarella - stir until combined. place into sprayed casserole dish. top with remaining ff mozzarella, then sprinkle oregano and parmesan on top. bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes. makes six huge servings, 9sp each. #ww #wwsisterhood #weightwatchers #weightloss #smartpoints #smarties #getfit #gethealthy #getskinny #beyondthescale #wwfamily #wwdivas #wwonline #wwsupport #wwinspiration #wwigfamily #losingweight #lifestylechange #healthylifestyle #becauseitworks #notadiet #weightlossjourney #wwfooddiary #wwiowa #itrackbites
